A research was conducted in America on statistics about diabetes and it shows that 29.1 million children in the USA have diabetes and it can rise to about 25.8 million in coming years. As per estimation in 2025 the number of people with diabetes can be 53.1 million.
The number of people with diagnosed diabetes is about 21 million. In 2011 it was just 18.8 million. About 27.8 % people have diabetes which is undiagnosed.

⦁ At the same age about 1.7 million people are those which are newly diagnosed with diabetes.
⦁ If we talk about younger people less than the age of 20 years then about 208,000 youngsters have diabetes.
⦁ It is a very bitter reality that 1 child or youngster in every 400 is diabetic.
⦁ The people which are above 20 years old also have diabetes and they are about 11.2 million of the total population.
⦁ 13.6% men and about 11.2% women have diabetes.

Diabetes in increasing rapidly in the whole world because the people are embracing American fast foods. They are just the lovers of hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, and pizza. Even the Chinese living in Singapore are dying with heart diseases and diabetes with type 2.
These Chinese eat American style fast food and they have about 56% risks of dying with these diseases at a very early age. The risk of type 2 diabetes is increasing to 27% in the countries that are not even touching this food stuff. People in the world are having junk food about four times a week which is the biggest reason of developing diabetes.

In the UK there are about 3.8 million people who are suffering from diabetes. This number can reach to about 6.3 million in coming year like 2025. The government is expanding its budget for diabetes to about 17%.

In the whole world diabetes is the main cause of death and it came on the seventh number. In the USA about 69,071 were listed to die with diabetes.
It can be underreported as a cause of death. It is also a fact that 35 to 40% people die with diabetes and it is not mentioned on their death certificate. Only 10% to 15% were listed as the main cause of death with diabetes on their death certificate. The world’s total cost of diabetes is about 176 billion which is direct medical cost.
