Introduction: STARRY NIGHT DIORAMA

About: Hi! My name in Miranda Sarmiento. I am an architect and I really like art and creativity.

Alluding to the great artist Vincent van Gogh and the admiration I have for my brother who is a mechatronics engineer, I made a diorama of the painting "The Starry Night" with electronic components.

Supplies

1. wooden board, dimensions: 30 cm x 30 cm·

2. Electronic components·

3. Paints: black, light blue, dark blue, yellow, white.·

4. Silicone or colbon.·

5. Tweezers·

6. scissors

Step 1: Sketch and Painting

First we make the sketch of the work "the starry night" and we paint it on the wooden board, then with the paints and the brush in the form of soft strokes we paint the sketch to give a background to our diorama with the colors: white, blue light, dark blue, black and yellow.

Step 2: The Background With Electronic Components

The next step we will do with the cables "caiman caiman cable" we glue them with silicone giving them the shape according to the sketch, with the "leds" we make the moon, the "modules" we simulate the city, with the "male connector strip" we shape the lower left mountain and with the "BUS cable" are wound like a filigree strip to give it the shape of a cloud.

Step 3: Street

We use two " breadboards" we join them forming a vertical strip and with the same paints from the base of the painting we paint the breadboards very carefully so that the paint does not enter through the little holes.

When we finish painting and drying we take the board and glue it to the protoboard our street.

Step 4: Buildings and Light Poles

The next step depends on how many posts and buildings you want to use, in my diorama I used 20 led lights, 10 capacitors and wire to form the bridges.

To create the energy bridges we measure the cable every 3cm and cut 4 pieces of that dimension and 2 pieces of 5 cm, we remove the protection from all of them on each side of the cables approximately 1 cm.

Step 5: Mountain and People

Now we can paste the "male connector strip" with silicone until we form our mountain one on top of the other and with the resistors we are going to join two of them with the cables to form the arms and legs of the person and with a pin of the "strip male connector" We are going to make heads of people and join them to the resistors.

Step 6: Electric Connection

Now is when we can properly attach the wiring. Now is when we can properly connect the wiring.

We need 1 USB cable, 2 yellow cables and we uncover the tips and a charger, we join the USB cables with the yellow cables and these we join them to the "breadboard" next to the resistance and finally the magic is done and we have our lights with light.

Step 7: Finished

Our "starry night" with electrical components is over and I've loved sharing it with you, I hope you like it and you can share your works with me.
